Roy Leighton

Roy was a big success as the Key Note Speaker at our 2005 NQT Welcome Event, he covered areas of 'Skills for the 21st Century - and has allowed us to use his presentation Vision Values & Goals . He is a star of stage and screen in his own right including a major role in the BBC TV programme ‘Confidence Lab’. (Check out the BBC website bbc.co.uk/health/confidence for more information and a range of tips and ideas to help with your own confidence.)
He has worked in education for many years with the whole range of sectors of the educational world from the disaffected to supremely able – that is for teachers as well as for the children!
Creativity, motivation, learning styles, self esteem and confidence, communication and value creation are all areas in which Roy excels and has successfully led Events for Independent Thinking Ltd from day-long INSET sessions, student workshops, parent evenings and conference addresses

Ian Harris from Model Learning will be the Key Note motivational speaker at the NQT Event on 7th February - his theme will be mapwise,thinking skills and creative problem solving to have a preview of these topic, IQ and IThink as well as his well known mapwise, visit his web site.

Learning Mentors are an essential link in schools for those pipils/students who need extra help to overcome barriers to learning inside and outside education establishments we have several successful learning mentors in our schools. The link here will help you find out more.
